Love is quick Love is long Love is what we have it'll never be wrong.

Love is powerful Love is sweet Love is that connection when our lips meet.

Love is wonderful Love is grace Love is everlasting, at a never ending pace.

Love is lust Love is devotion Love is our most powerful emotion.

Love is a hold Love is an embrace Love is being touched by your simple grace.

Love is tender Love is a dream Love is how all of life should seem.

Love is for so many but finds so few My Love is lucky, because my Love is you.

Poetry on Bullying by Devin Dwarica

A few years ago I was forwarded the following poem by Devin's Mom, Olga.  Devin was 13 years old at the time and his mom was so very proud of him, so was I and so I know many of you parents will agree.

Bullying has been around for centuries but now our schools and some amazing students are finally fighting against preventing it.  We may not all be so lucky or catch it in time to spare a life from being hurt but if more kids like Devin speak up we can certainly prevent a lot of unwanted turmoil.

The more they Bully the more I shine...  

Love

Just saying that "I love you" doesn't

     Mean a thing at all

For loving words fly like the birds 

     When they hear Winter's call.

Love is a thing that proves itself

     A thousand times a day

In simple little things you do

     And the little things you say.

Love is a thing called scarifice,

     A tonic when you're blue.

Love is the joy of doing things for 

     Someone dear to you.

One smile begins a friendship,
One handclasp lifts a soul.
One star can guide a ship at sea,
One word can frame the goal

One vote can change a nation,
One sunbeam lights a room
One candle wipes out darkness,
One laugh will conquer gloom.

One step must start each journey.
One word must start each prayer.
One hope will raise our spirits,
One touch can show you care.

Success is speaking words of praise,
In cheering other people’s ways.
In doing just the best you can,
With every task and every plan.

It’s silence when your speech would hurt,

Politeness when your neighbor’s curt.
It’s deafness when the scandal flows,

And sympathy with others’ woes.

It’s loyalty when duty calls,
It’s courage when disaster falls.
It’s patience when the hours are long,

It’s found in laughter and in song.

It’s in the silent time of prayer,

In happiness and in despair.
In all of life and nothing less,
We find the thing we call success.
